I was commissioned by Despoina to develop the brand identity for DietIsMyHealth, translating her philosophy into a visual system rooted in trust, clarity, and holistic wellbeing. Grounded in Mediterranean food culture and guided by evidence-based practice, Despoina combines scientific expertise with a deeply personal understanding of how nutrition shapes quality of life. The logo was designed to reflect the core philosophy of DietIsMyHealth — a clinical yet human-centered approach to nutrition. SYMBOL The icon forms a stylized human figure: a circular head and two leaves shaping the body. This visual metaphor connects the individual with nature, expressing balance, growth, and holistic wellbeing. It reinforces the idea that nutrition is not restrictive, but a foundation for long-term health. STRUCTURE & COMPOSITION The typography is clean and modern, communicating clarity, professionalism, and scientific credibility. The structured layout reflects the clinical foundation of the practice while maintaining approachability. THE LETTER “I” AS CENTRAL AXIS The “I” serves as a visual and conceptual anchor. It connects the words DIET and IS, highlighting their inseparable relationship. At the same time, it becomes the vertical axis that carries the human symbol — placing the individual at the center of the brand. SECONDARY APPLICATION In its circular version, the logo is enclosed within a round frame, symbolizing wholeness and continuity. This variation strengthens the idea of integrated, lifelong wellbeing.

It represents the process through which individuals learn to appreciate their bodies, embrace themselves, and build strength through mindful nutrition. The deep grey serves as a stabilizing counterpart. It reflects scientific credibility, professionalism, and trust — essential values within a clinical nutrition practice. The color reinforces the evidence-based foundation behind the guidance and care provided. For the primary brand communication, Avenir was selected. The typeface is defined by its clean geometry, balanced proportions, and timeless modernity. Its reduced and structured form language supports the scientific foundation of the brand without appearing cold or distant. At the same time, it maintains a subtle softness that reflects the human and supportive nature of the practice. The range of weights allows for a clear typographic hierarchy. Stronger weights provide structure and emphasis in headlines, while lighter cuts ensure readability and calmness in body text. This creates a balanced interplay between authority and approachability. As Avenir does not fully support the Greek alphabet, Geologica was introduced for Greek text. It shares visual similarities with Avenir — particularly in its clean lines and contemporary character — allowing it to integrate seamlessly into the existing system. This ensures visual consistency across bilingual communication while preserving the integrity of the brand.
