Concept & Execution

Concept & Execution

The roofing industry is often dominated by generic visual language — predictable roof icons, heavy typography, and conservative color palettes. For Stock & Katakis, the objective was to create a distinctive visual identity that communicates structural expertise and professionalism while remaining modern and highly functional across all applications. Instead of relying on a conventional roof symbol, the concept integrates the initials “S” and “K” directly into architectural roof geometry. The mark combines the structural logic of roof construction with clean, angular lines inspired by real roof pitches. Three defined angles subtly reference different roof types and reinforce technical precision. The geometry is deliberate — sharp but not aggressive, solid without feeling heavy. The result is a logo that feels engineered rather than illustrated. Its compact and balanced structure allows it to perform consistently across practical environments such as workwear embroidery, vehicle branding, construction site signage, and digital platforms. Legibility is maintained at small sizes while preserving impact at scale. The goal was not decoration — it was clarity, recognition, and durability.

Typography & Color

Typography & Color

The visual system was designed to balance visibility with structural credibility. A vibrant orange was defined as the core brand color. It references traditional roof tile tones while introducing a contemporary and energetic character. The color communicates craftsmanship, confidence, and practical strength — qualities directly aligned with the company’s work. In applied environments such as construction sites, vehicle branding, and workwear, the orange ensures high visibility and immediate recognition. The typographic foundation is PF Din — a modern industrial sans-serif rooted in technical drawing and engineered letterforms. Its condensed proportions and geometric precision reinforce clarity, reliability, and structural discipline. PF Din brings a rational, technical tone that complements the angular logo geometry. The combination of strong color and engineered typography creates a brand system that feels functional, confident, and built to last.
