Uniquos is a digital company led by senior software developer Johannes Volk. As a Pimcore Silver Partner, the company delivers advanced solutions in product information management and portal development, combining technical precision with creative problem-solving. I was commissioned to refine and further develop the brand’s visual identity, translating the company’s technical expertise into a distinctive and cohesive visual language.

The logotype development began with an initial concept provided by Johannes. While he had a clear direction in mind, my role was to explore variations, refine structural details, and elevate the typographic execution. The objective was to create a letter-based mark that subtly references coding symbols without becoming literal or visually overloaded. A key focus was the controlled interaction between the letterforms. Through selective merging and connection effects, I introduced a sense of cohesion and flow, reflecting the interconnected logic of digital systems. Multiple typographic variations were developed and evaluated before the final direction was defined. The chosen solution preserves the strength of the original idea while enhancing clarity, balance, and visual impact through refined vector construction.

The tone reinforces associations with technology, innovation, and digital energy, while maintaining clarity and recognizability across applications. Secondary colors were integrated to support usability and visual hierarchy in digital contexts. For body typography, PF Din Text Cond Pro was chosen for its structured and technical character, offering strong legibility and a professional presence. The logotype itself combines custom vector construction with elements derived from Nimbus Sans L Regular, which I reworked into a more compact and assertive form to strengthen visual presence and cohesion. Together, color and typography establish a system that reflects both technical precision and contemporary digital aesthetics.
